Food Gatherers, the featured charity for The Original Kroger A2 Turkey Trot, exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community. Food Gatherers regards the gifts of food and money that they receive as a sacred trust to be administered for the most effective hunger relief possible.
Bring a donation of non-perishable food to packet pickup on Friday or race day. All donations collected at the A2 Turkey Trot will be distributed locally in time for Thanksgiving on Thursday. Monetary donations are accepted as well.
Here is a bonus for your donation: Donate 10 canned items and receive a vintage Epic Races race T-shirt! For 20 cans, you’ll receive three shirts and for 30, five shirts! If you prefer a monetary donation, $5 = 10 cans.
